The personal data provided by you as the applicant will be used by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") for the purposes relating to your application for employment (including any particular position(s) you applied for and/or such other vacancies which the Authority may have) and other employment-related purposes (“Purpose”). |

Your personal data held by the Authority will be kept strictly confidential and only disclosed to the authorized persons within the Authority for processing the application and/or may be transferred and disclosed to third parties as is necessary for us to bring a legal action or defend any legal claim in connection with your application. |

The completion of all items indicated on the employment application form is obligatory for the further processing of your application. |

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to, and to request correction of, your personal data held by the Authority. Such request should be addressed to:

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the Authority has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the costs related to your data access request. |

If you are not contacted by the Authority within 8 weeks from the application closing date, you may assume that your application is unsuccessful. We will keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the Purpose for which the data was collected. Personal data on an unsuccessful applicants will normally be destroyed 24 months from the application closing date and will be destroyed afterwards. |

If your application for employment is successful, your personal data will be transferred to your employee personnel file and will be further used by the Authority for employment or residual employment related purposes as appropriate. |
